Cole Studio Antique North Carolina pottery vase is for sale.  Now is your chance to acquire a rare Malachite green glazed Art Deco period 2 handled vase today.   Made in the 1930’s by the famous Cole family of Sea Grove, N.C.   The Cole’s have been potters for 200 years.   This Malachite glazed vase is made from the rare white clay from the Whitefield (alluvium) deposits.   This resource was coveted with limited supply.  The clay now has a more reddish orange color so this is why its so rare to own.   The Malachite glaze is rich and the whole piece is saturated with color.   You can feel the ridges of when it thrown and worked on the wheel.  You can see the handles were molded skillfully to the vases top and body.  Come and buy this one of a kind vase today.  10″w x 7″d x 11″h   This vase can be purchased and picked up at the store.
