Vintage Hamadan design Rug

Vintage Hamadan runner rug has a large vase medallion motif that pops from a deep navy blue back ground set within a rich red.  The design is exuberant with large floral motifs and contrasting ivory and lapis blue colors.  Made of wool with a cotton foundation from the Zagros mountains between Turkey and Iran.  This was woven and created in a village on the border of Iran and Turkey which was made for the Western market.  This is a statement piece and ready to be picked up at the store.   The size 45″w x 94″l.
