Vintage Japanese Brass and Copper hanging lantern

Vintage Japanese brass and copper hanging lantern is offered for sale.   Japanese Tsuri-doro are hanging lanterns originally used in shrines and temples for lighting the way to prevent ancestor spirits from getting lost in the dark afterworld.  This handmade lantern was crafted by a master metal craft artist without solder.  The 6 sided panels were hand etched with lotus, clouds and floral motifs.   11 1/2″d x 14 1/2″h.
