Antique Persian Bakhtiari rug is ready for you to enjoy. This Persian was created by village and nomadic tribes people in the Zagros Mountains, Western central Iran circa 1900-1920. This rug has geometric and floral motifs with striking red, navy and black. Made of wool, low pile on a cotton foundation. There is some wear on the edges but to be expected. The colors are muted and soft. I took photo’s outside and inside. The rug is clean, smoke free and in very good condition. The size of this rug is perfect in a bedroom, living room, library or foyer.
