Who shops at Fairfield County Antique & Design?
The design center is open to the general public. We’re a destination for interior designers, architects, movie and TV production set designers. Come and shop with no delays.
What are you buying?
You’re purchasing antique and vintage items. Many of these items come from our finds while traveling, family, estate sales and auctions. The items will show wear from their past use and to be expected. We are not able to offer any warranty. We do not intentionally misrepresent any items. About the rugs
Our rugs are vintage and will vary with color, thickness, and size. The rugs range in age from 40 to 100 years or more. We work on acquiring rugs that are in good condition and will show wear to the pile and edges. The great thing about purchasing one of these rugs is your buying a one of kind handmade piece. These rugs photographed have variation in color and will vary in your home and lighting. We will do our best to photograph these beauties.
Shipping and cancellation
When payment clears, we will let you know your order is being processed. We will wrap and box your item and ship out USPS, Fed-ex or UPS. Shipping and handling takes us about 5 to 7 days. We will send you a tracking number once we ship out. Orders over $150 will require a signature.
If you cancel you have 3 days to cancel from the time you hit the payment button. Once at the shippers you will not be able to cancel and you will own the item(s). If your on the fence about an item? Please email me with any questions. Vintage and Antiques are to make your home nice!
Note: We will do our best to ship out and get your items to you. There have been bottlenecks and delays with shipping and we cannot be held responsible. We want you to receive your items so hang tight we appreciate your patience.
If your item is damaged please notify us withing 7 days after receiving. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will also need photos of the packaging and damage on the item. We may need you to hold onto the damaged box and item until we straighten the matter up with the shipper so we can refund you.
Do you have returns?
All sold items are final sales. We do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds. We try our best to provide as many details as possible with descriptions, photos, condition and material. I do my best with measurements, please allow 1/2 an inch allowance (usually on rugs). As mentioned previously, we don’t offer any warranty. We don’t intentionally misrepresent our items. WHY can’t I purchase the item?
Some items on line will be pick up and purchase only from the design center in Norwalk. These items are to bulky, fragile and costly for me to ship.
CT sales tax
If the item you’re purchasing is being shipped in the state of Connecticut then you will pay CT sales tax.
Do we rent or consign?
No consignments. I will consider renting items for photo shoots or movie sets.
