Deco style Cole Pottery circa 1930’s, North Carolina.
The Blue semi gloss glaze has a hint of Periwinkle making it beautiful to look at. You can see the ridges which are the hand of the potter turning and molding the clay into this beautiful vase. The ruffle edge just adds more to the skill of a master potter. Truly a treasure. There is a firing mark on the bottom of the base, but the potter did not throw out since its this difficult to make in this large size, 6.5″d x 12″h
