Offered are some interesting mid 19th century pair of paintings featuring 17th century scenes of a man warming by a fire and a disagreeable guest. These paintings have an illegible signature, oil on canvas, silver-gold gilded wood & gesso frames. The artist is having so much fun toying with us. This would make a great conversation piece for your children. Yes or No? The paintings are in good condition for there age. Approx. size 14″w x 16″h x 2.5″d
