These carved vintage ironwood birds are available. They are all birds of prey perched and looking over their wings getting ready to fly. They’re all different and hand carved from a solid block of Ironwood. Ironwood is a very dense straight grained wood found in Mexico. The sculptures date to the 1960’s and 70’s and created by Seri Indians of Sonora, Mexico. The Seri Indians are known for their folk carvings of birds and animals.
