This antique 19th to early 20th-century Tibetan butter churn, also known as a dong, reflecting its nomadic heritage. This is crafted as a small wood barrel bound by three bent round wood bands with decorative knotted detailing. This was used for churning yak butter, it now serves as a sculptural accent, floor vessel, or natural pedestal in rustic, wabi-sabi, or globally inspired interiors. The size 15″d x 11″h.
