Antique 19th century New Hampshire ash splint oval shaped buttocks basket, generously sized. Features a twisted handle with God’s eye detailing. Shows tight weave and solid construction throughout, with a mellow dark patina. A superb example of early American utility and craftsmanship, remaining in excellent condition with strong structure and presence.   25″l x 16″w x 14″h.  This superb basket can be purchased and picked up at the store.  No Shipping.
